Self-Determination

I have not had much experience in making these choices. Will someone help me?

In making decisions about your life's goals, you will probably want the help of trusted family members, friends, and professionals. Together you can set goals and plan for the assistance you will need. You might want a professional who is both experienced and independent to serve as a Support Coordinator for you. Whoever serves as a coordinator for you should be able to meet state requirements and be able to work with service providers to arrange for your supports. You should feel comfortable with each person you choose to help you.
