How will this be paid? Will I get cash?
The Medicaid program does not provide cash to individuals with disabilities or their spouses. Instead, your Support Coordinator will work with you to develop a person-centered budget. The agencies or individuals you designate will act as contractors, business managers, and as a payroll agency. You may be able to choose who gets a specific amount from your budget and you may be responsible to authorize that payment.
